Workshop & process
We don’t run a production line. Your vehicle gets a bay, a written spec sheet and one fitter who sees the job through. Here’s exactly what happens between your first phone call and your first camp.
Nothing gets drilled, cut or crimped before stage two is signed.
Thirty minutes in Ultimo. We record load-area dimensions, wheel-arch intrusions, tailgate clearance and your fridge model. We also ask the boring but important questions: how many nights off mains, how much water, what recovery gear rides inside.
Within one business day you get a one-page sheet listing materials, runner ratings, battery capacity and chemistry, charger amperage, outlet positions and total fitted price. You approve it by reply. Any change generates a new sheet, never a surprise invoice.
Cabinetry is cut and assembled on the bench while the harness is loomed and labelled. Then the module goes in, anchors are torqued to spec and every circuit is terminated with marine-grade lugs and proper fusing at both ends.
We load-test the system, measure voltage drop, check anchor torque and hand over a printed circuit map. You get a walk-through of every switch. After your first trip, bring it back for a free re-torque and connection check.
Five minutes of prep saves us an hour of your billed time.

No. We mount to existing factory points wherever possible and use chassis-backed plates when we don’t. Nothing is welded and no factory harness is cut — we tap power at the battery and through fused feeds, so your dealer has nothing to argue with.
If you camp more than a handful of weekends a year and run a fridge plus lights and charging, lithium pays for itself in usable capacity and weight saved. If you mostly do powered sites and short trips, a good AGM is honest value. We’ll give you the run-time numbers for both before you decide.
A twin ply drawer module runs roughly 55–70 kg empty, a 120 Ah lithium about 13 kg with its cradle. We list the figures on your spec sheet so you can keep an eye on payload, and we’ll tell you honestly if a build pushes you close to your limits.
Yes, and we do it often. Second-hand rigs regularly arrive with unfused feeds, undersized cable and a solenoid doing a DC-DC charger’s job. A 45-minute diagnostic gets you a written list of what’s wrong and what it costs to fix.
We do. Trailer charge circuits, canopy drawer modules, water-tank bays and solar are all part of what we build. Trailers need to come in hitched to the tow vehicle so we can commission the charging circuit end to end.
Two to three weeks in normal periods, longer before school holidays and the winter run north. If you have a departure date, tell us at the quote stage and we’ll hold a bay that gets you out on time.
